Isn't Harper Perry some place in West Virginia?

I've heard of Harpers Ferry, WV.

Desmond SS, Lombardozzi 2B, Werth CF, LaRoche 1B, DeRosa RF, Espinosa 2B, Nady LF, Flores C, Detwiler P

Espinosa dropped to 6th

Nice! I'd prefer to swap Desmond and Lombo.

From Amanda Comak--Brad Lidge to the DL with a sports hernia. Maybe Perry is coming up.

People really don't check to see if something's been posted before they post it themselves, do they?

I mean, I'm not mad...  it's the internet, everybody does it.  It's just kind of funny, esp with really big stuff that's hard to miss if you take even a cursory look around :P

Do you go back to The Gunner (Prince) and The Possum (Woods)?   Dave and Charlie are good on the radio.

Yep...the first teams I remember with any real clarity are the '65 or '66 teams.  Spent lots of nights listening to KDKA.  The teams I wish I could forget are much more recent!

Oh man  (LOL).    I go to the 50s (probably late 50s).    So you had some Nellie King and the Gunner?   :)    I love West Coast games because of Bob Prince.   Used to hide my radio and listen to him do games at the Coliseum.

team decision, support the major league club, need a bat that can play the outfield, it was a choice between moore and harper, moore didn't have the experience to play LF at the major league level, felt at this time that the developmental plan for Harper is still in place and we're committed to it, circumstances forced this move b/c of RZ/Morse on DL, we needed an impact bat the play the outfield

^^^My sloppy shorthand of the sound byte Nats Xtra played from Rizzo's phone call.
