In what world do you think someone would take Werth with such an outlandish contract?

ours.  vernon wells says hello

But you have to take into consideration that our team would have to pay a considerate amount (which wont happen) and you'd have to think that some other team wouldn't mind having him way past his prime.

I'd bet that Carl Crawford would be available for Werth.

not to be repetitive, but i don't think anyone thought that wells had a chance of being moved either

Werth will be here to the end. No one will ever touch that contract.

for what it's worth, wells had $86 million left over 4 years at the time of the trade.

Cespedes would fit right in with the Nats.  He got placed on the 15-day DL today with a strained muscle in his left hand.

Only if a few weeks later they announce he requires Tommy John surgery. :?

Strained muscle in the hand? That's odd.
