Vaguely familiar, maybe.  I'll ask the kids if they know that one.  I'm old school:  whales make me think of petunias and Star Trek IV:)

Thar be whales here!

if we go .500 the rest of the year we will still finish with 91 wins.  me gusta

??  If we go .500 from here, we'll finish with 86 wins -- 86-76.  Still, point taken -- a quick 10 games over is a obviously a great head start!

Bringing over from yesterday's game thread a pic n2p posted:

It looks like they spelled ZNN's name wrong on his bat and added an extra "n" with a marker or something :lmao:

I wish the Orioles would stop winning.

Amen to that. Too many O's fans around here. Hell, not only that, but the Buccos pitching staff has been just as good as ours lately. We have the better record, but still. LETS GO NATS!

Why no Bernadina against the right handed pitcher?  Bernie bunting for base hits against the Padres defense could work.

Going to get treatment in LA, and probably a cortisone shot. If nothing changes, he'll go to the DL and be eligible to come off May 6th

man west coast games suck. I only like them on the weekend. That way I can watch the games when I'm at a bar or something.

i fell asleep with the TV on around the 5th inning of game 1, and woke up with H-ROD on the mound with two outs.  I guess it was around 1 AM?

Pitch count?   Didn't you mention the other day that ID's swinging on the first pitch is old news?

He's barely batting .200 FP.  It's time to change.
