And a couple of players went 0-10 at the plate and one went 0-11.
I still can't figure out what he's saying. It almost looks like he starts to say "Number one", but then at the last moment switches to "wooooo", so it comes out as "Number wooooo", which just doesn't make any sense...
I believe both starting pitchers went the distance in that game.
Did anyone see that blowhard LaVar Arrington throw the ceremonial first pitch? He made a bunch of cocky moves on the mound before the pitch, then proceeded to throw the ball about 2/3 of the way to home plate
The pitch was weak, funny as hell and he got booed hard. He was on the radio before the game and Dukes and the callers were telling him to make all those moves, he was going to just walk out to the base of the mound and throw the ball but they convinced him to stand on the rubber and shake off the first couple calls.
You'd think that a professional athlete of any stripe would go mark out 60 feet 6 inches in the luxurious back yard and throw a few to make sure it got there. Jesus. Maybe he just choked, I don't know.
