Little Featured at FANFEST at NoonMajor Announcement also Expected Harrisburg Senators Manager Scott LittleThe Harrisburg Senators announced today the team?s new manager Scott Little, will be the featured speaker at this year?s FANFEST. FANFEST 2007 will be held Saturday, February 10th at the Harrisburg Mall. This year marks the second year that the Harrisburg Mall will play host for FANFEST, which will run from 10 A.M. until 6 P.M. that day.
Little, also a former player with the Senators, will speak to the crowd and answer questions from Noon until 12:30 and will then sign autographs. Following Manager Little on the stage, a major announcement will be made by the team concerning a newly created entertainment branch of Senators Baseball.
Some of the special events this year will include, National Anthem auditions, a Job Fair, Baseball Jeopardy and a Baseball Trivia Contest. Senators? Mascots Rascal and Grrrounder will be on hand to welcome all fans, sign autographs and have pictures taken throughout the day.
Other activities for the entire family will be Baseball Fun and Games including the popular speed pitch; a Kid?s Area with activities and skill games; merchandise and ticket sales; prizes will be awarded every hour. All events are free of charge and open to the public.
The Senators also announced that all of the audition spots for the National Anthem tryouts have been filled. The National Anthem auditions will begin at 3:30 P.M.
The Senators open the 2007 season on April 5th at Reading against the Phillies. The home opener is set for Thursday, April 12th at Commerce Bank Park against Erie at 6:35 P.M. Season Tickets as well as ticket plans and groups are on sale right now at the Senators? office or on-line at
