Angry Birds at 49? Sorry, even if Angry Birds is a joke compared to plot and gameplay of modern console games, it's revolutionary nature can't be understated. It proved, and was the first, to really prove handheld tablet gaming was not only possible and could be popular, but it's ease of understanding and insane replayability plus the massive amount of non-gamers it drew in? Top ten in my opinion, plus it is a really freaking cool and incredibly original and well designed game. But the origination of tablet gaming, and for that matter, phone gaming, having a long lasting game open to even grandmas, can't be emphasized enough for its importance and innovation.
Granted, Plants vs. Zombies came first and did have a modicum of success, but Angry Birds is really the Rosetta stone for bringing gaming to tablets and non-gamers.
