Be set in a senior home with Nazi nurses and Indiana leading the hunt for applesauce.
:hysterical:

Makes me think of a movie that was stupid as hell, but still made me laugh. Bubbahotep. Bruce Campbell is talented that way

I wonder if they will use the de-aging technique that they used on DeNiro in the recent Hoffa movie.  I suppose they can use CGI on some of the action sequences, too.

I don't know if it's the same as they used for DeNiro, but I did hear that yes, they will be doing digital de-aging for some scenes.

They should have left that franchise alone after Crusade.

They can also just go with spin offs. Maybe I'm on an island, but I thought Young Indian Jones was on par with Temple of Doom. It was certainly better than the new one.

Agree. But people pay to see the MCU crap so it’ll probably do well in the box office.

People say Depp movies were impossible because you couldn’t insure him, how do you insure an 80 year old Harrison Ford?

We saw a man called Otto tonight. Incredible acting performances and one of the most emotional movies I’ve seen.

Hmm. Interesting. Will need to take a closer look at it. The clips I've seen in previews haven't appealed to me at all.

i will warn you, if you've had any experience with suicide (self thoughts or friends) it can be tough to watch at parts

Geez. They pitch it as a grumpy-man comedy.

I suppose many folks who commit suicide are grumpy.

there are laughs, but it's not a comedy, or maybe you could call it a black comedy. It's like Forrest Gump in some ways (in terms of emotional roller coaster). I don't want to say any more but I'm glad we saw it.

That's such a sad situation. He does seem like a pretty decent dude and this is tough to see.

Watched The Whale today in-flight. The most depressing movie I've seen since the most recent A Star Is Born. Incredible acting though. I hesitate to recommend it because it is so difficult to watch.

Saw Oppenheimer this weekend even though I was certain I'd be bored silly and dying at the 3 hour run time-I was very wrong lol excellent movie! So fast paced and even thrilling at times, 3 hours flew by. Great performances by all but Cillian Murphy is a monster star, just owned that screen!

My nephew has the letter from Groves he sent out to Manhattan project workers on 8/6. Somewhere in the files I hope we saved the Oak Ridge paper.

Worth revisiting 'The Trials Of Oppenheimer', from American Experience, as a grounder before seeing the movie...

either him or my neice colored on the back of the letter with crayons, I think. it's still nice in frame. Dad had a 4 digit ID at Oak Ridge since he was one of the first 10,000 there helping to set up the place and get it running. I think it maxed at about 70,000.

Hoping to see Talk To Me this weekend with my wife and brother. We're big A24 fans and this movie has been getting pretty decent hype. I'll have to temper expectations though as they almost always never live up to the hype. Last one I got this excited for was Barbarian last year which I found to be very meh.

Edit: Actually I found Evil Dead Rise to be over hyped as well... So yeah, I really need to lower my expectations for this movie or risk being disappointed again.
