Not necessarily. It could be mutating like a mofo before it can be dealt with.
Luckily in real life it gets weaker as it mutates. From some reading it will possibly eventually turn into another common cold.

Pixar's Soul is supposed to be fantastic, we plan to watch it today on D+.  It is written by the same person who wrote Up.

Watched Dazed and Confused on Vice last night. I like that movie in part because it is my year in high school (rising seniors at the end of classes in 1976).  Funny that the big concert is Aerosmith for them.  I was in Boston that time, and the big concert was Elton John at Schaeffer Stadium, the first Foxborough  football stadium before Gillette. The other fun thing about that movie is to spot the folks who did something in the movies after that.  Ben Affleck is the goon, Matthew McConnaughey is a graduate who hangs out with the seniors, and  Parker Posey is one of the senior girls.  While I honestly didn't know her work, I spotted one of the actresses had the name "Ribisi" and knew Giovanni Ribisi, so googled her and found out it was his twin Marissa, who has had a career too.  Also, I didn't connect it, but Adam Goldberg (Hebrew Hammer) was in it.

Watched Rocky Balboa (Rocky 6) tonight. Just an absolute perfect conclusion to the in-ring Rocky story.

Watched operation finale today on Netflix. It’s a drama based on the capture of Adolph eichmann in 1960 by Israeli agents in Argentina. Just a fantastic film. Very reminiscent of bridge of spies.

If you liked coming 2 america, the sequel was really good. If you didn’t, you probably won’t like the sequel

We watched Pixar's "Soul" last night, it's the story of a struggling middle-aged jazz musician who dies just before his big break and tries to figure out how to get back to life but ends up in a pre-birth staging area where souls derive their spark before heading to earth to be mated with a body. It's a pretty deep movie, even for Pixar, that reminded me a lot of the Robin Williams movie from the 1990's called "What Dreams May Come", which was one of the most visually, and storyline intense movies that I've ever seen.

Soul is definitely worth watching, like Up it has a strong message on what's important in life. But unlike Up, Wall-E, etc., it isn't really a kids movie though there are some slapstick moments. There are also a few pop culture easter eggs (and a ROFL sports reference) that are worth keeping an eye out for. I think I need to watch it again to figure out a few events in the movie that were a bit confusing.

Easily.  Even if he's better than Connery, he's still #2 because he's not Sean Connery. :)

I can't find the movies thread.

Therefore, I come to this thread to implore everyone to go see the new Spiderman. It is great.

At this time of year (Winter Solstice), it's always good to re-visit Bergman's 'Winter Light'...

Tick, Tick..BOOM on Netflix was outstanding. It is a movie based on the play of the same name, which is the semi-autobiographical story of Jonathan Larson, who wrote the play Rent. TTB, the movie, was directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda, stars Andrew Garfield of Spiderman / Hacksaw Ridge fame, and features a slew of cameos from Broadway stars past and present. Just a fantastic movie.

I haven't seen Rent (the play or the movie), but the movie is now next on my viewing list.

holy crow ...  I didn't realize Garfield is 38!  I knew he wasn't a teenager but.  Kind of explains how he can still do Peter Parker without aging out of the role.

Don’t Look Up on Netflix is really good. Think modern-day idiocracy.

He’s not Spider-Man anymore.

I watched that. Was not that impressed. Too long. And not that funny.

Jonah Hill made me laugh out loud a few times. And the song lyrics during the big concert.  Make sure you watch the scene after the credits.
