They are now selling seats behind home plate, I got a warning that the view will be blocked by the net. The 100 level is almost sold out and the Nats presale hasn't even begun!

Yep, they tried to sell me those, too.

I ended up with four in section 131, row D.

nananana life goes on...haha the Beatles were never silly pop music, I don't care how silly some of their lyrics were  :mg:

Ha, you should find the youtube videos of them performing for the first time in the U.S. - at the DC Armory.  Serious music doesn't get this sort of response, does it?

100 level is long gone, 200s are almost gone. Plenty left in the 300s and 400s.

Parking was unavailable for about a day after they sold out the B and C garages, but now they are selling spots in garage H, $50 to park on the far side of M Street.

One Direction's Midnight Memories enters The Billboard 200 at No. 1, enabling the English/Irish quintet to become the first boy band in chart history to land three No. 1 albums. Four earlier boy bands — New Kids on the Block, Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync, and Jonas Brothers — each had only two No. 1 albums.

The 400 level is selling out fast, unless they are holding tickets back, and it doesn't appear that they are, the concert will sell out today, before the general sale even starts tomorrow.

You can still get 100 level seats by selecting handicapped seating.

Sold out, and I just sold a pair for a $100 profit each.

Sold 3 more, raising prices, 30 to go.

Just grabbed eight more tickets, they sold out regular seating in about two minutes this morning but they still have handicapped seating. Row A in 230, right over the stage.

Here are the free shirts the Pirates will be giving out this year, wonder if the Nats will have as many.

That would be nice.

I read one site that said that full season plan holders for the hockey team get one ticket per seat in their plan and then baseball ticket holders get second dibs. They recommend buying seats higher up in the stands as the ice is elevated over the normal playing field. Pre sales to the Caps and Nats plan holders will include a three game package with a couple exhibition games. Any other sales are done through charities so that the charitable organization can tack on an extra $50.  The NHL sets the rules on this so hopefully we'll have the chance to buy a couple tix each.

I'm reading that they said that it would likely be #Nats Park, which isn't much different than the original statement. FedEx isn't really an option because the Redskins would possibly have a home game there two days later and RFK is old.

Sign me up for some 200 level tickets under the overhang.

I'd be there in a heartbeat. I'm definitely gonna try to make it to the Classic though, my uncle went in 2010 at Wrigley Field and said it was an awesome experience.

Based on past years (this year doesn't compare since they are playing in a 109K seat stadium), the NHL will require Caps STHers to buy tickets to all three games.  The Caps will then be given a very limited number of additional tickets for partial plan holders.  The visiting team will be given a large block of tickets.  The Nats will be given a smaller block of tickets.

So we'll likely receive a URL and a one time password that will allow us to grab up a few thousand seats in the 400 level.  Seems like FedEx or RFK would be the much better choices based on sight lines and prices. I'd like to go, but it sure as heck isn't going to be cheap.

as cool as it would be to attend, i'm thinking that midway through the first period the nostalgia effect would wear off and I'd be sitting there wondering why I paid a couple of hundred bucks to freeze my butt off.

Agree; went to the Blizzard Bowl on Philly a few weeks ago and even with two pairs of socks and multiple layers of other clothing still got cold.  Sounds like good plan to scoop up some of those 400 level seats and sell them.

Those 400 level seats will cost $300 with fees, selling them for $400 each on Stubhub will net you a $40 profit, way too small of a percentage to justify the risk. A small dip in demand puts you in the red.

As far as the cold goes, I've been to plenty of December and January Redskins games, as long as it isn't raining it'll be fun.

Craigslist here I come!
We will see what happens; our season ticket guy is usually a little late getting notices out so probably will miss out on the whole thing anyway.

I assume you are referring to the original sale price. Using the cost chart from the game last year in Philly, and the fees charged for One Direction tickets, 400 level seats will absolutely cost close to $300 a pop when purchased directly from the team.

Remember the bus-loads of Phillies supporters that came in not so long ago? Assuming the opponent is the Flyers, Penguins or Rangers, it's going to be at least 2/3 opposition supporters in there.
