Dining Out
« Topic Start: November 06, 2011, 01:44:42 PM »
We went to Eatonville last night, at 14th & V street NW.  Laura, the bartender at the Red Porch, works there.  The food was awesome and reminded us of Savannah, GA

you know what's funny i have never eaten at the Red Porch before.

I've been inside plenty of times, watched a few innings from the deck ... amazing views ... but I stick to the Loft and Scoreboard Walk.

Any recommendations for food items/drinks in there?

Red Loft is a decent pregame meal.  Can't beat the ambience, either.

And you run into some interesting characters there from time to time as well.  I highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich.

I'd imagine that going down to the Red Loft would be an excellent pregame meal indeed. Hell, I can see the ambiance sometimes getting so good that one would rather stay there instead of going to the game itself.

do you mean the RED PORCH?!?

it's not that hard people ... the PORCH is the enclosed restaurant on the concourse level ... the LOFT is the upper deck bar area.

The entire post is a double entendre. Oh, and Tom, you spelled ambiance incorrectly.

  Tom, you spelled ambiance incorrectly.

I didn't spell check it when I posted, but upon further spell check in Word it accepts both spellings of the word as being correct.
