Pudge and Livo are supposed to be involved in a postgame ceremony.

FP is probably about to be choked out by Rizzo for saying he doesn't like pitch to contact for Strasburg.

A long ceremony in the middle of the game? Seriously WTF? That will freak up the pitchers

Honoring the history of a stadium > one (meaningless) game.

Wow, a WB Mason ad without the loudmouthed "Neva Neva NEVA" woman. Whoda thought it.

This seems not dissimilar to the Orioles' countdown to 2131.

FYI, Adam Dunn avoided infamy by not having enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting title.  He finished the season with 496 PA and he needed 503.

...and his batting average ended at .159.

Best moment of the year? Ramos' walkoff vs Mariners.

This seems not dissimilar to the Orioles' countdown to 2131.

We had a countdown of our remaining matches at RFK in 2007 as well - progressively tearing off numbers from a stack behind the foul screen,

I always heard it's fine for football and soccer.

The new ballpark looks like a spaceship when seen from the highway.

All that was cool, FP, but I'm still taking the Ramos walkoff vs. Seattle.

My favorite moments are probably Ramos vs. Seattle and the super fiery games in Arizona and Chicago (Sox 14 innings).

Probably doesn't want to jinx it.
