Three up and three down is almost unheard of with Lannan.

Is the plan really to go into 2012 with Lannan as #3?  That CAN'T be the plan!!!

He does Maryland football and basketball on the radio. His voice is better for those sports.

I hope Davey bats for him next inning.

I don't think Davey has picked up a bat in a long time.

Vazquez will definitely pitch a complete game at this rate. 4 innings, 36 pitches :lmao:

Uhhhhhh ..... the current plan, at least to reporters, is that St. Stephen, Zimm and Lannan are locks.

I have no problem with him being a lock.  I have a problem with him being #3.

That plan has failure written all over it.  :hang:

You guys realize one bad start doesn't take away the validity of his mediocre season? I mean that as a positive. He's been average and wouldn't be the worst 4 or 5 of all time.

He has to be a 5 and no better if you hope to contend. But then again this team is not looking to contend. They're only looking to extend the date of contention and save money. The Lerners Are Chazzer.

He'd actually be an outstanding #5.  He'd be an adequate #4.

So this is the third time in four games that Carpenter has missed. What did they say was wrong with him? And can he pass it to Debbi Taylor?

Johnny H is the Lannan of baseball broadcasters.  If he's your #3 option, you're in trouble.  He should be no higher than a #5.

I heard kidney stones.  I'm sure he'd like to pass them to anybody!

If we want to make any noise next season, we need to find a far better #3, i'd have him in the rotation and there's no problem with that but he is #4-5 and no better

If he's #3, he'd be the Cole Hamel of this staff.
