If you have Ricky Henderson, you have him jump on a first-pitch fastball". They were grumbling about a decision the inning before when Mets hitter takes a 3 - 1 fastball for a strike, runner on second, and number 8 hitter on deck. "If you see a fastball, you swing because the 3 - 2 pitch might be harder to hit."
