I like Marrero. Maybe they should play him in left? Can't be any worse than Morse ....

His bat plays worse at LF than at 1B

I've been pestering my baseball-buddy, my daughter, by repeatedly saying that I want to see Bally more often, and less of some other pitchers.

Where is the Lombardozzi from Syracuse and Harrisburg?  It's not like he's going up against Lee and Halladay!

We stood on line for 20 minutes to get in via the home plate gate at 5:50. They are checking EVERYTHING and making the ladies throw out liquid cosmetics. If you get here at 7, you might get in by the 4th inning.
They are worried that Al Qaeda will attack by taking a Duck Boat up the Anacostia and through the home plate gate.

Dude in front of me got up to leave and said "I've had enough.  That guy [Maya] has got to go.  What a waste."  Not as good as the old dude that threw his scorecard down in disgust when HRod crap the bed but pretty funny regardless.

Bumped into OC on the concourse and he said he didn't encounter much security. Maybe it was just the home plate gate.

Wait, did you go through the STH gate or the regular one?  It might have just been the STH gate that had zero security.

I'm bummed you did too. I wish the theatre had been at Half Street instead of where we enter.

Adam Kilgore killing it on Twatter:

"I remember when Yunesky Maya dropped one of the quotes of the year in Spring Training: 'The Cuban Kid is gonna win 20 games.'".

Other than an armed rent a cop standing around, security at the CF gate was the same as always...no problems getting in. I saw the ridiculous line at the home plate gate...

He meant 20 games in his career.

Not even close.  He'd be lucky to win 5.

He meant Luis Tiant. Did it four times.
