  What I find hilarious is how the SS shows up flexing their fandom when the Nats go on a mini streak but you never hear a peep out of them during ghastly streaks. The Legion of Doom takes its lumps win or lose.

I guess we can take solace in the fact that the part when people give up on the season happened two months later than usual. Progress!

as a member of the SS, I haven't given up, but man does this suck right now.  I really thought 81-81 was within reach a few weeks ago, now I'm not sure if we'll hit the 75 win mark I predicted at the start of the season.

But having to always look at the bright side - Bally pitched well yesterday.
