  What I find hilarious is how the SS shows up flexing their fandom when the Nats go on a mini streak but you never hear a peep out of them during ghastly streaks. The Legion of Doom takes its lumps win or lose.   :hammer:

SS?  Don't lump me in with those pantiwaists--I stand alone.
I am upset because we have reached that point in the season where I feel that it is safe to just give up on the Nats for the year.

Definitely not you. They know who they are though.

I guess we can take solace in the fact that the part when people give up on the season happened two months later than usual. Progress!

crappy stretch (worst of the season I'm guessing), but we'll turn it around soon. Strasburg coming up will bring a lot of energy.

I'm hoping Malone with his un-worldly numbers will be the real thing.

And we start hitting with RISP. :(

as a member of the SS, I haven't given up, but man does this suck right now.  I really thought 81-81 was within reach a few weeks ago, now I'm not sure if we'll hit the 75 win mark I predicted at the start of the season.

But having to always look at the bright side - Bally pitched well yesterday.  :)

Yes!  Can't wait to see the next Greg Maddux on the mound.  (Is that too much to ask?)

Maddux threw about 8 MPH harder than Milone does.
