I pretty much have no sympathy for the other team's fans. I am completely envious toward people who have experienced there team win a championship because I never have. Not even close actually.

I have a meager 5 under my belt - 3 Redskins, 1 Bullets, 1 Terps men's basketball, all the major ones I'd count.  It's starting to be a long time since anyone's won, however.    :?

Dear Joe West:  the Yankees-Red Sox are approaching 4 hours and they're in middle of the 8th, so suck on that!

(for those who don't know, our fat friend Joe West received much criticism, and justly so, last season after publicly complaining about the slow pace of the games when those two teams face off)

Each batter should be limited to one heft of the nuts, one spit, and one wristband adjustment per plate appearance.  That would speed up play.

I banned him for the night.  Wasn't in a nyanyan mood.

SF gets banned, Nats score 9 runs

pretty much bombs away on Jurrjens tonight.  We seem to have his number this year, which is nice for a change.

This game is being repeated on MASN starting at 11:45 pm.  (2-1 in 5th inning now... Make that 5-1, Zim-with-1N's homer.

2007 - 5th September (140th match)
2006 - 12th September (145th match)
2010 - 23rd September (151st match)
[2008 - finished 59-102]
[2009 - finished 59-103]

Nice to be looking back on a win. Forgot how nice that was as fan, I can only imagine the relief of the players.
