Balester is an AAA pitcher, how many more times must we suffer him up here?

This is the same Balester that we saw last time he was up.

And the same Balester that just gave up 8 hits and 7 runs in 0.1 IP in AAA last week.

lucky that wasn't a double down the line. Balester isn't fooling anybody. I can't remember someone who has done as poor as he is despite being given so many chances up here

Nights like this are twice as hard on hammonds because with the birds losing it amounts to losing a double header.

I'm from the future and we will be no-hit the rest of this game.

Unbelievable, this has to go in the "Worst offensive performance in team history" discussion.

1 run in 7 innings. We should have 6-7+ by this point. This is the reason we will finish in last place again.

We were done scoring about an hour and half ago.

crappy pitch out. He made Ramos have to bend down to catch it

He beat a pitch out

Because Balester went full kick, he was probably 2 flat to the plate, acting like he was throwing the most important fastball in his career. No point in pitching out if you can't get the ball to the plate faster.

~20% less atmospheric pressure isn't cutting it.  They should have put Coors Field up at Loveland Pass.
