i was listening to a radio show the other day and honestly i couldn't remember who was talking, but they asked whether eckstein should be on the hot seat and the guy said absolutely and started pointing out some of the stats to back it up. now could the nats have fielded a better roster? yeah. could the hitters start stepping up? yeah. but he deserves flak.

I don't blame Eckstein for the hitting woes (he's not at the plate), but I cannot comprehend why we're taking so many called 3rd strikes this year.

Or Flores will single to right, pinch hitter will strike out, Ankiel will double to center, Espinosa will single to left center, Zimmerman will hit a sac fly, Morse will double to center. Game.
