Upton is out tonight and it isn't a scheduled day off. Imply what you want.

I think I saw on twitter it's just a scheduled day off.

Stephen Lombardozzi is sitting in Syracuse, but don't read anything into it. A scheduled day off.

Or is that just what they want us to think...  ;)

4 LOB through 2. Same old crap.
At least we're getting people on base unlike the last couple of games.

whatever defensive metrics say Morse is not perfectly acceptable at 1B are flawed...

Why can't my cheap-ass MLB.tv pick up Charlie and Dave instead of CRAPenter and Ray-Ray?  I wish I had ponied up the dough for that feature.

I want to see his stupid 24-game hitting streak end tonight.

this team has such a talent deficit. A lineup can't afford weak links like this team has. Flores is a disaster. Desmond has never been a major league calibre bat. Too many holes.

But Zenglebert Bimbledack says that Desmond's presence is irreplaceable.

:? I remember when we first traded for Bonifacio and how he went on a tear for the first two weeks he was here and how we were all convinced he was our second baseman for years to come. Rizzo fooled us all :bang:

Wasn't that Jimbo's doing?  Boni is really streaky, and he can really tail off when he's not hitting.  I know Florida had him out of the lineup for a good time earlier this year, and last year as well.
