As I said earlier this week Denard Span -Drew Storen deal will go down it's a matter of time:secondary players have to be agreed to #TRADES

Bowden.

I don't like trading Storen. Not ONE bit.

But he, like the OF we got from Milwaukee, seems to have some solid potential because they have produced at their respective levels. I'll take this return for Marquis, who is the definition of mediocrity and a bad second-half pitcher.

And got cash on the Gomes trade. If they had taken on payroll PANatsFan would be lauding them for not being cheap. PANatsFan, should we subtract the savings from the 2011 payroll total? That would drop them back down to perhaps even lower than last season's total.

Storen alone for Span is not a good deal, let alone a great deal.

Including another player does not make it any better.

This Zach Walters kid is tearing it up in single A. He has a great average, OBP, and he's mashing doubles (27) with 9 homers and 56 rbis. He's been caught 10 times stealing though with only stealing 12 successfully.
