we know you have a boner for Upton (causing you to ignore reality), but the question is if it's worth giving up substance for Upton when Bernadina can do a lot of what Upton has performed this year.

essentially

is the addition of Upton > losing Bernadina, Desmond, relievers/prospects?

Let me clarify then, Upton has speed and knows how to use it. If Bernadina is easily one of the fastest guys in the league why doesn't he use it to his advantage? Reality is Bernadina is a 4th OF and Upton would be a legit starter for us.

I could care less if we get Upton or not, but to say Bernadina can do all of the things Upton can is flat out wrong. He can't, but he's classy and a great citizen so that makes up for his shortcomings on the field!
