I still don't understand why Desmond tries to knock it out of the park in what seems like every at bat. He has no power. Stick to slapping singles and using your speed. Ugh.

No matters what happens here today...this team is ahead of where I had them at this point in the season. I would say that this first half of the season has been a success. Imagine what might have been had Jayson Werth actually decided to play this season.
