By the time the 9th inning comes, we're probably going to be losing by 5 runs so it's likely a non-issue.

Was Johnson expecting to get a complete game out of Livan tonight?  If he was then he's a fool.  If he wasn't then part of that inning was his fault.

Why would he e a fool? Is it irrespobsible as a manager to assume a rubberman like Livan can't protect a 8 run game.

Livan(and werth in some capacity ) the blame. Not Johnson.
