He started playing better precisely at the point that Maya was called up and he wasn't. I think he noticed.
I'm stuck at home tonight so everyone going rep us well. I'm really hoping Ross is crisp and on tonight, I'd really like to see us crush the Chubs.
I work in a room / building filled with Cubs fans (I live in Chicagoland) so I would love nothing more than a massive beat down. I like Quade, but their roster is nothing like it was 6-8 years ago - man now THAT was a roster. They should have taken it all. I lived so close to Wrigley Field that the lights lit up my living room at night. During that 2003 Bartman-ball series, you could hear the collective deflating sound. Halirious but sad at the same time.
I've always loved R. Det's stuff... especially his breaking ball.
Okay, not TOTALLY the same. I'm not going to root against the guy, but I'm expecting total failure.
Better chance the Nats win or Casey Anthony is found innocent?
Charlie:"For the Cubs it's a former National, 38 year old or so they tell us Ramon Ortiz."
Official birthdays in the DR is always, ya know, a fuzzy concept. He looks about 58 in this photo:(Image removed from quote.)
