Did he say "Eddie Yost"?

Yes, Phil Wood has always signed off the airwaves with a simple, “Eddie Yost” (adios), to honor one of the great Washington Senators. Yost played the majority of his career as a third baseman for the Washington Senators, then played 2 seasons each with the Detroit Tigers and the Los Angeles Angels before retiring in 1962. He was nicknamed the "Walking Man" for the numerous bases on balls he drew. Yost was considered one of the best lead off men and third basemen of his era.

The hosts speculated today that Danny Espinosa, who was sought by the Rays in the off season, could be on thin ice if he leads MLB in strikeouts again.  PhilWood pointed out that Espinosa struck out 34 more times than Frank Howard.
