...more like 'getting in on the ground floor' - sort of like starting to follow the Capitals when Alex Ovechkin arrived in 2005 and toughing out those first two low-attendance*, playoff-less seasons (but, just as important, starting to follow the team BEFORE the first playoff team and the sell-out streak).

*except of course when the Penguins were in town

didnt get to watch the game live. had to replay this morning. But i would just like to say thank you to John Mclaren for all he knew in his only major league game as a manager for sticking up for the team in an obviously blown situation. Going forward I will always be a John Mclaren fan.

Same here. I was following along on the GDT until then and then I caved in and turned on the radio.

I was running on fumes by the time Clip gave up his homer so I had to go to bed. I think that was page 40 or so but I have no idea.

McLaren was awesome last night. Went out in a blaze of glory. Told each of the umps to go freak himself after that overturned call at 1b.

How do we win a game with 3 blown saves? Crazy.
