It's alright. Seeing how bad the weather turned out to be, it's probably for the best. Gonna try again for one of the championship games next week. I've got enough connections for tix, it shouldn't be a problem...

I think the Nats will at the very least win this series.

It seems like they have done well against the no offense/pitching and defense teams this year, like the Giants and Padres.

He's been such a loser lately. Disgraceful giving up 3 hits against that terrible Cards lineup. Lucky for him the game ended after 9 innings because for sure he was starting to tire and once again it would have fallen to the bullpen in the 12th or 13th to try to salvage the game.

Fister has given up 3 or 4 earned runs in all of his last 5 his starts.

This is a career minor leaguer who has a career 12-26 record in the Majors. He is a backend #5 SP at very best. Someone that we should be able to beat up on.

Bad pitchers are capable of spectacular displays of pitching even against good offenses, which the Nats don't really have. You can never "guarantee" a win.

I'm not saying they won't... but to assume that from the start for a guy with a career 3.97 ERA and 1.28 WHIP is a joke.

We'd kill for a starter with those career numbers... and you go off and call him "a backend #5 SP at very best".

Who's guaranteeing a win? I am stating that this is a game that this team should win. The matchups the next two days look unfavorable. A win tonight is crucial.

The Nats say they have turned the corner, well prove it and win tonight against a #5 pitcher and a weak offense at home.
