Ramos is pathetic in plays at the plate.

Molina blew a similar play yesterday...just saying

If your intent was to defend Ramos, you probably shouldn't admit that he blew it.

Do they consciously choose to be terrible against the Orioles?

Ramos screws up throw to plate.  No error. Could have put him out.
4th   R Andino singled to left, D Lee scored, R Andino to second advancing on throw.   1   0
4th   Z Britton [PITCHER] doubled to left center, R Andino scored.

Oreoles   2
Nationals 0

Shouldn't give up hard hits to the 8 and 9 hitters with two outs.

I agree that he blew it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to throw him under the bus.

Marquis isn't the problem. It should be 0-0 and he's having a career year. Trading him may be a smart move but bashing him for that run isn't.

Now the response from the offense, after giving up two runs should be to strike back but who wants to bet they go down 1-2-3.

Who's throwing him under the bus?  He blew the play, and he's had some other suspect plays, but nobody's saying we should ship him out or anything.  Just noting that he still has plenty of growing to do.

I agree, I thought this was a dig at me after my gold glove thread the other day.
Ramos has potential to be another Pudge, but potential alone isn't enough.

It's not good FP because the NL teams don't have DH's on their rosters.

I think the problem most would have with Marquis is that he let the number 8 hitter have something to swing at with first base open and the pitcher on deck
