Get it together Jason.  The offense is dead so far tonight.

If the Brewers offered Rickie Weeks for Ian Desmond and John Lannan would you make the trade?

Definitely.

Definitely.
Weeks is signed thru '14 with a two year option after.  I think the Brewers would look at that trade pretty hard.

I think the Brewers would never make such a trade in a million years.

Not while in first place but after the season is over, maybe.

Hah, no.  Maybe if Desmond's bat picks up enough, but I don't see that happening.

They already traded one weak-hitting SS to KC, so why would they want Desmond for a great player like Weeks?

Marquis is tap-dancing through a minefield every inning.

Looks like the storm itself will mostly pass to the south, thankfully.

I, for one, would be ok with another rain delay. Britton is a tough pitcher and Marquis looks shaky. Our bullpen is vastly superior to theirs and well-rested.

I'd rather see us stomp a mud hole in the O's and skip the damn delay.

Weeks could be the part that gets pushed out of Milwaukee.  The SS position is a mess for the Brewers(Betancourt) and adding a Lefthand starter could maybe get their attention or maybe not.
