wasn't there a time, earlier in the year, when Morse was the board whipping boy?
Not from me, but maybe by some people.  I think most rational people knew judging him from such a small number of at-bats was a bad idea.

Around here personal whips are not retired. They just take brief sabbaticals.

Most people just grouped him with everybody else who was struggling.

Werth sucks.    Morse does not.

Too many lefties on the roster....

What's the % breakdown of left to right handed pitchers?

I guess those light maple "shatter-matic" bats are a big advantage to hitters, but they sure seem to turn a lot of hard hits into weak grounders.

Werth and the lefties are walls to scoring runs in this game.

Well, in all fairness, for some reason, after a killer Spring Traning, he did look lost at the plate.

Now he doesn't.

Nix would be no better because he's also a lefty and Stairs is the most sucking lefty of them all!

I feel sorry for anyone sitting in the nosebleeds of Chase Field.  Do you get your own personal sherpa in those seats?

Does he know you're watching the Nats?  I figured he'd have that baseball talk show featuring Phil Wood on a loop when the O's weren't playing for all his prisoners.

Hey didnt the D-backs use to have a slick fielding 1st baseman....name escapes me

For those of you confused

Adam LaRoche was the slick fielding 1st baseman for the D-backs as reminded every play he made for the Nationals by Bob Carpenter
