The Nationals are going to be 18-games under .500 when the 11-game road trip is over.  I just did the math.

They'll be 8 games under in about 3 minutes.  They'll get swept by the Phillies and go 2-9 on the road trip.

So what? He's got the 8th best wOBA among all second basemen in the game.

He's already a Top 10 2B, regardless of what his average is.

There's not much he can do to fix this during the season so we're stuck with this abomination. The Lerners are so freaking cheap that they and their apologists love Rizzo because he serves as their insulator from blame. If they aren't committed to winning (and their cheapness demonstrates all they care about is profits) they should sell the team or we should come to terms with the reality that we will not be in contention while they are the team "custodians"! This is totally embarrassing. Let's not lose track of the fact that this team was nearly swept by the Padres. freak this bullcrap they're trying to sell the fans about a freaking plan! There is no plan aside from the plan for the Lerners to make money of the franchise and its fans.
