there's just no way morse should be given the green light on a pitcher that had just issued 3 consecutive walks.
Ye' wudn't think so - but hell, he's swinging the hot bat.

That was the second time in a row (Ankiel) misjudged a ball.

But, at least he's not as bad as Werth is on balls over his head.

Bat hitting catcher's glove.   Never seen that before in my life.

Exactly. It's just moronic to nag about that. If he saw a pitch he liked he should swing and try to drive it.

Let me clarify - I've seen catchers hit on swing follow-throughs.   When was the last time though that there was an "I-2" recorded in a game.

Also, keep in mind I was overseas for a while ... didn't see a baseball game for almost ten years.   And there was no team here for many years also.

4th   B Tekotte tripled to deep right, C Headley scored.   1   0
4th   K Phillips singled to left, B Tekotte scored.   2   0

Padres       2
Nationals  0

As of last week there have been at least 93 "i-2" recorded in games since 2007 (in the regular season). So that probably averages out to just slightly under one "i-2" per week.

Here's a table that shows the leaders (notice most of those guys are lefties). Pudge has been charged with 3 including today's.

Haha pathetic Tim Stauffer owning. No offense per usual

Good game. No offense and JZ bends over for some minor leaguers with 2 outs

It's imbecilic to nag about Zimmermann. That was a quality start and gave the team a chance to win this game.
