Barbies are roughly twice the size of G.I. Joes, so it would be more awkward than saucy.

Old G.I. Joes were the same size, guess that was a while back tho...

Guess it would be like that whole Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman thing again.

GI Joes have been plastic and small since the 80's tv show. I'm pretty sure they re-released some of the doll-sized ones.

Yeah. Those were the old twelve inch scale Joes. They were most popular in the '60s and '70s. They were replaced by the three and three fourth inch scale figures in '82, however, there is still a large fanbase for the twelve inch scale. They reappeared in the early nineties, and a few special edition twelve inch figures will be released this year.
