Done?

Done what?

There are high draft picks to get and then not sign

Honest question: 6 games under now. We done?

This team gives me a splitting headache.

Riggs lost the game by putting in HRod. But then again it's Rizzo's roster

Same here... I work 3-11pm so I miss most games but I've watched more this year than ever before and I gotta say, this one hurt more than any. Ya know why? We got so close to redemption after blowing the lead and then... NO AND THEN!

Payroll!

Rodriguez was awful, but you liked the corey brown trade :lmao:
It's official , we got raped in that deal although one year of Hammer isn't that much of a loss in the grand scheme

I think I'm actually going to work tomorrow and skip listening to this crapfest.  Managment don't care so why should I?

They didn't let Ray talk to Riggleman.

I don't think that is a coincidence.

Damn you're annoying. The way HRod had pitched lately, he deserved a shot. A terrible walk and some bad luck later and you have us, the MLB's version of the Bad News Bears. As much as this loss hurt, I don't mind giving HRod a shot there. You have to see what you have and regardless, he looks much better now than he did a few weeks ago.

Guys at this point I guess we should hope the losses keep coming so changes are made. A shame the season has to be flushed down the drain for this to happen.

The way Coffee has been pitching, he deserved the spot more. I guess the plan was to save him for the 9th but freak that - let him pitch two innings.

True, but with this team any mistakes are deadly.

He doesn't know how to pitch. He's a minor league guy. HRod didnt deserve this shot tonight. And the results prove that

Well said.  I agree with you.  The walk was terrible though, and that's all on HRod.  He deserved the loss and he got it.

Absolutely true, and I didn't even think about Coffee. Still, knee jerk DFA of HRod would be just as dumb as keeping Stairs on the roster.

He looked better tonight in a serious stress situation but you're right - he throws the ball.

No need for a DFA of him, plenty of other people need to go first - Stairs, Bixler.
