i'm not sticking up for him.  i didn't really know how to phrase it, but i was trying to say he's not running around the questions he's coming straight out and saying he isn't making any excuses for being awful up there and has no answers on why it's been so bad.

I know what you meant. I was just commenting that if you are in the lineup then you have no excuses.

yup.

i know zimmerman is out and he's one of the most irreplacable players in all of baseball, but we have still been able to play around .500 baseball ... so there should be no excuses.  and whether you're facing roy halladay or dillon gee, you have to be able to hit and/or walk at this level.  we have guys not doing their jobs.  it's pathetic.

N2P's next post will reach a milestone.

Thanks, spidey...  I posted #10,000 in the WNFF Welcome New Members, Introduce Yourself! page, since it didn't exist when we joined WNFF in 2005:

in his defense ( i guess you can say ?), everytime he has answered reporters he says he has no excuses whatsoever.  says he's as frustrated as everyone else.

And he says this looking like an expressionless 2X4...
