Time to make a move with Slaten. It's one thing to get beaten on good pitches. He has just been awful getting behind batters all season.

You can't deny how beefy and athletic he is though. It's raining men. Hallelujah.
Everything about that inning was wrong. Giving away an out to play for 1 run. Relying on bench players to bat in place of guys who are already batting regularly in games, burning better defenders, allowing a guy to try and steal 3B. Amazing.
Weren't you the same guy who has been pumping up Slaten all season?
I'd feel a lot better about our chances if we were still only down 1.
