Interesting lineup today.  No Espinosa, Ramos or Morse, though they have been struggling lately to various degrees. Still, this is one of those lineups that makes you cringe just by looking at it.  Hopefully we'll pull it out and Riggleman will look like a genius.

I hate when its back to back lefties in the line up. Especially when you can alleviate it by dropping a guy one spot in the order(laroche).

I don't know what to say about this line up. It's as if Riggleman thinks all the players are equal in potential for slugging, OBP, and average, that it's just plug and play.

I guess I'm glad Nix is in.

Last two weeks Hairston has a .355 OBP.

What I have a problem with is he has pudge, cora, and hairstin in the game all at once.  Spread them out over the course of a week so you dont have one massive O'fer in your lineup on a given day.  And i'd like to see them try Morse at third, i dont think thats such a bad idea.

Well, other than Ankiel, it was a big O-fer yesterday, so I guess mixing it up today can't yield results any worse than yesterday.  Right? Maybe?

I more or less agree but I do like having Nix bat cleanup.

He also has been struggling big time.

Hopefully the day off helps.

I won't go that far, but it's bad with no Zimm, no Danny, no Morse and no Ramos.

Looks like Riggleman came on here, saw my Adam LaRoche thread from yesterday, and decided to make the change! :o

Riggleman just said on 106.7 that he isn't disappointed or frustrated because the players are trying.  What a winner.
