can we activate ryan zimmerman at the bottom of this inning?

Don't be such a moron dude. He's not freaking ready to be back. If he was activated and got hurt again you'd be whining like a nag about it!

Linty:

SNY (Mets broadcast) just showed a graphic indicating that pre-TJ surgery, JZ had a "swing and miss" percentage of 10.3% and after the surgery it's down to 6.1%.

Good analysis.

he has you dimwit.

Yes, he's had one.  Unfortunately, there have been five innings.

...the exception that proves the rule.

He's starting to get the borderline calls. I think it may turn out okay for him.

Zimmermann needs to be out of this game.  He can't not have a clean 1-2-3 inning tonight.

I can read lips.  Reyes said:

"Are you kidding me?  You're giving the NATINALS the call?

That was caused by his latin accent though.

I give it a 50% chance that Ramos does it again.

That made me chuckle because it reminded me of eagleskinz and UMD's imitation of eagleskinz.

His fastball is a lot straighter now (most of the time). He probably doesn't throw it the exact same way that he did before. I'd like to see some before and after charts to see the difference in movement.

Why would they do that, ie consider JZ "swing and miss" stuff?  How did it come up?
