I missed it, but Hood signed a minor league contract in May, it doesn't look like he ever played anywhere.

Bacus should catch on somewhere too, he was decent in Rochester last year.

Of their first 10 selections, seven were position players, four were outfielders and three of the top five were teenagers, plucked straight out of high school to join the start of a rebuild.

And within each of those groups was T.J. White, the switch-hitting corner outfielder from South Carolina. A fifth-round pick and recent Dorman High School grad, White had just turned 18 when he reported to West Palm Beach, Fla., in August. For the Nationals, it was settling to watch him and Brady House (shortstop, first round) produce right away in the Florida Complex League, with White posting a batting average/on-base percentage/slugging percentage slash line of .283/.356/.547 in 59 plate appearances. House, not to be outdone, slashed .322./394/.576, tying White with four homers in his 66 plate appearances.

Daylen Lile, an outfielder and their second-round choice, also flashed his potential and patience at the plate. The hope is that, in time, House, Lile and White either take off or fill the cracks of a system trying to claw toward average before setting its sights on good. Reflecting on the rush of professional experience, White pointed to House and Lile as a support system, his best friends and the healthy competition that pushes him, all in one.

Emiliani looks like he had a short, nice stint his second time in rookie ball as a 19 year old in 2019, but really didn't show much last year.  Now he's a little old for his level.

FWIW, he ranked #32 on this guy's top 50 in the Nats system going into 2021.  Fro perspective, he ranked between Noll at #31 and Read at #33.   That tier of players he viewed as "Tier 4: Players who have the potential of making the majors, or have a high likelihood of making the majors but providing minimal impact (e.g., middle reliever, low-ceiling UT guys)."

Another player I’m watching closely as 2021 will be his first full season. Like most young players, his strikeout numbers were high, but the power potential is there.

Looks like he has played mostly 1B with few games in left as an 18 year old.

Off of his transaction history, it looks like last year was mostly wasted due to injuries after a late start, maybe due to a "testing" issue - "ABS"?  Doesn't seem long enough for drugs, so I'm guessing that was COVID?

Hit a grand slam last night. Start the thread. He is a couple hot weeks from I think them calling him up due to his age and Branden Boissiere probably being the guy they want to give every day ABs as a high draft pick.
