Does Young Soto rate a thread? Hitting decently. Still 20.

Anyone know if we will have a new Top 30 list updated anytime soon that incorporates the signed 2026 draftees?

FWIW, Fangraphs lists 45 players as 35+ or higher in their future value.
https://www.fangraphs.com/prospects/the-board?sortcol=3&sortdir=desc

Just below their top 5 (Willits, Susana, Fitz-Gerald, Ford, and Sykora), are 4 45+ gusy in their 6-9 slots for our system - Hacopian, Rosario, Harmon, and Sime. Rounding out the top 10 is Jackson Kent. 11 40+ grade, 14 40s, 10 35+. They have Brunson at #20 in the system (40+), Williams #21 (40+), and Cooper Harris at #29 (40 FV).

They have the Nats at $7 in terms of projected value of their prospects. That's about as high as I've seen the system valued.

Might need a thread for Jacob "Joe" Walsh at some point. Life has been good to him so far.

Via nationals player development:
Quote
he's homered in b2b games and is hitting .333 (12-for-36) over his last nine games !!!

14 HRs / .822 OPS between A & A+ for the 2025 15th rounder.

mlb pipeline made a few changes to our top 30, though the new draftees aren't slotted yet:
- King moves from 6 to 4 (skipping 25 as well)
- Cruz & Fien each drop a slot to make room for King
- Kent from 15 to 9
- Sime Jr. from 17 to 10
- Franklin from 19 to 29
- Cabrera from 21 to 19
- Pinckney from 20 to 30 (????)

a few other adjustments, but those are the big moves

May want to add Davian Garcia. 2024 6th rounder who got above slot and advanced to Wilmington last year. Started the breakout game. Throws hard. They seem to like him.
https://www.fangraphs.com/players/davian-garcia/sa3031927/stats/pitching

Longhagen had him as a depth arm in his 7/25 review  of the Nats prospects:https://blogs.fangraphs.com/washington-nationals-top-39-prospects/

Camerato in her breakout game article:
https://www.mlb.com/milb/news/gavin-fien-five-rbis-nationals-2026-spring-breakout?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage
As for the 2025 numbers, Wilmington was a lot worse than Fredericksburg, so the combined number is deceptive.

The article notes he was very nervous at the start of yesterday, with a BB, single,HBP start, but he K'd the next 2 guys and got out of the inning without a run.

Had TJ in June.

top-30 is updated with recently acquired players via trade, but pipeline still hasn't seeded our draft picks. They have Hartle at #29 and Yovanny Cruz at #30 but they are both likely to get pushed out once the draftees are added (and Cruz is already in the majors).

minor change the pipeline top-30: Ford has lost prospect status so he's off the list (was #9). Everyone else moves up a spot and Nauris De La Cruz enters at #30. Still no seeding of the 2026 draftees. Abi Ortiz should be off the list soon.
