I never got stuck for 8 hours in my car like I did this winter. My mind has still not recovered. It might be the single worst experience of my life.

I spent 2 hours going from Pentagon City to S. Walter Reed in Arlington.   Only thing worse was Algebra, well maybe being drafted.

I'll be pissed off if we do anything less than sweep this joke of a team.  The Pirates' roster is an utter embarrassment -- we are superior to them at every position except CF.  I really can't believe what those owners are doing to Pirates fans.  Why build a beautiful ballpark only to put an absolute garbage product on the field?

Tabata is better than Morse, Walker is better than Espinosa for now, and Alverez is better than whatever crap ass we have at third.

Er, if it's postponed until Monday, what do we do with this thread?  Does it become game 3?  Do we rename it?  Does it travel back in time at 88 miles per hour and punch Joel Hanrahan in the flux capacitor?

That's still "the mountains".   My sister is not far from downtown (P'burgh) and she told me earlier that it looks bad all weekend.   She must have had tickets.   :)

Even with the giant blizzards last year I never got stuck for 8 hours in my car like I did this winter. My mind has still not recovered. It might be the single worst experience of my life. I had to piss worse when I finally got hom than when the Return of the King ended.
Ha!  Hubby had to leave his car and pee in the woods on the side of Route 7 in Falls Church.  I bought him a portable urinal to keep in the car for future emergencies. :D

I just turned on MASN - since the O's got rained out too, Angelos must have decided to save the electricity and just pull a plug, as the screen just reads:

Temporarily Off Air
Mid Atlantic Sports Network
please check back later...

By the way, the O's must have waited until the last minute to call their game, unlike the Pirates, although it's obvious neither city was going to be able to host baseball tonight.

El Blimpo has been atrocious so far. He finally hit his first HR last night so maybe he'll get hot for this series. Just throw a bunch of sliders/curves and the Nats should be fine. BTW what is your situation at 3rd looking like since Zimmerman went on the DL?
