I really like the Eagles on paper but I've got a feeling Vick is either going to get hurt or revert back to his usual self this year. Agree/disagree?

It depends on what goes on around him. He will need all the other pieces to work well if not he will go back to being a playground QB.

Does he ever not get injured?

Larry Fitzgerald resigned for $120 million... what the freak? He's good, but not top 5 in the league good.

Espn is reporting tebow is third string- does this mean god doesn't actually like him?

It's obviously a challenge from God.

Who are the 5 better than Fitzgerald?

Some guys I'd give a bigger deal than Fitzgerald (Manning Breede and Brady aren't on the list because they're too close to the end of their careers)

Aaron Rogers
Philip Rivers
Matt Ryan
Josh Freeman
Joe Flaco

The only position I'd overpay that much is qb

I thought this was a discussion about the WR position on;y. I wouldn't even think of challenging the notion that Fitzgerald isn't a top 5 player in the league.

He's paid like a top five player now- just as stupid as paying Chris Johnson that way

Yeah I meant top 5 in the whole league. Top 5 WR, yes, but that's top 5 in the league money.

I agree. I have seen enough of Ryan but no way would I put Freeman in that category. Flacco doesn't belong anywhere near that list though.

I'd still gave Brady, Manning, Rivers, Rodgers, maybe Brees that money over Fitz.

I pay either of them over a WR- even if you take them out put Schaub and Vick in

Thing is, it's tough to compare contracts from this off season on, to past ones.

With more money allocated to veterans(with the decline in rookie salaries), every vet that signs a new deal is going to make more than comparable players from the past.

Not necessarily saying Fitz is worth the deal he signed, but NFL players never see the full length of their deals anyway.

Hell, I'm a Ravens fan and I don't think Flacco is anywhere near the top five. I wouldn't put Matty Ice or Freeman anywhere near the top 5 either.

ESPN's pundits have been raving about Freeman this offseason. Gotta see more before I buy the hype. I haven't seen anything yet that makes me think he is the next great one.

most WRs aren't worth more than a QB but Fitz is worth more money than flacco, freeman, vick and schaub

3 WRs i'd give big money to

calvin johnson
fitz
andre johnson

I think the Eagles are overrated. I won't deny that they have the pieces to win, but this is an Andy Reid team. They'll get to the NFC championship game and choke.

i believe he'll be a good NFL qb  but it's too early to pump him up

that of course means ESPN will anoint him the next brady

because the receivers are why arizona, detroit and houston missed the playoffs

Because they don't add enough to carry a team- take away a good qb and most teams are screwed- take away an elite WR and most can get by

im not going to argue that a QB is more important than a WR, it obviously is, but i disagree with your assessment that you'd give big money to josh freeman and joe flacco before someone like fitz
