That crowd reaction to Nyjer's AB was the meanest I've ever seen a Nationals crowd.

I was lookin' for batteries.

Riggs obsession with yanking Morse after 6 is getting old. Makes no sense to burn a bench player in a game when you need to ensure not burning through the bullpen. Hopefully this means marquis is gonna go beyond 7.

Chris Marrero 3/3 with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs today for Syracuse. :az: BA up to .306

Need to see more games like this from him (power)

He's back on the juice.

Nah, I think he was using a metal bat.

Chief, the crowd booed a lot worse for Milledge's 1st AB against Strasburg than they did for Nyjer. But it was probably the second worst reaction.

It seems to me that Morse needs to see as many pitches as possible, and that ABs in low pressure situations (like now) would be perfect for helping him break his slump.

Most of the crowd booed, but it didn't seem that loud.  The lack of fireworks for HRs is terrible. They need a replacement, maybe a giant bubble machine?

I go out for brunch and come back to find the Nats up 7-2? What on earth?

Did Rick Eckstein start telling the Nats that they are allowed to swing the bat in Major League Baseball?

Let me guess.  PC declared the game over after the 3rd inning.

Actually, their patience drove up Gallardo's pitch count really high and the Nats started piling up runs.

Maybe Screech could zip-line from above the press box into the bullpen.
