As long as we're guessing, I guess workouts for a week or so and then at least a week in rehab. I can't see him coming back for another two weeks or so but I hope I'm wrong.

it'll be less than that.  wouldn't surprise me if he's back by sunday/monday (earliest) or phillies series next tues-thurs.

15 day DL right?

I'll go with 21-27 while Zimm'n is sidelined.

This team is kind of hobbling along through the season like a hobo trying to find a liquor store that'll let him in.

Mostly because of their pitching, they've been competitive in nearly every game of every series since Zimmerman went down.  We have to appreciate that.

Including today's win, I think we can go 14-15 during May. Unfortunately, that prediction includes getting hammered over the next two weeks against the Phillies, Marlins, and Braves, so if you're a Sunshine Squad member, try to keep the faith until we draw the Pirates, Mets, and Padres at the end of the month.

Bring 'em on. If you are afraid to play teams in your division, then you're in trouble. As long as we keep getting the good SP we'll be oK. The hitting has got to come around soon. Werth and Laroche will pick it up. The only one I'm worrying about is Morse. He is the unproven one.

I don't think so. Even if the team does sign Zim to a long term deal he isn't going to play forever.

He knows that.

Just being smart about it.

As for the Nats, they're 6-9 since the Brewers series.
