Wins: 74
Losses: 88
NL East Standing: 4th (because, thankfully, the Mets are terrible)
HR Leader and #: Zimmerman 31 (Werth will lead in doubles and have a great season, though)
RBI Leader and #: Zimmerman 94 (Zimm hitting behind Werth and hopefully improved Desmond (and some leadoff hitter who will still suck) means more RBI opps)
Runs Leader and #: Zimmerman 85 (Because he will get on base more than everyone else and score by accident...or by a Morse home run)
Average Leader and #: Zimmerman .294 (did you know Guzman was third on the team in BA last year? Shows how much that matters.)
SB Leader and #: Desmond 21 (Because I'm hoping Morgan doesn't run enough to lead the team in SB)
Wins Leader and #: Hernandez 10 (only because he'll throw 20% more innings than everyone else; and I think Zimmermann will get shut down at around 150-175 innings)
Saves Leader and #: Burnett 15 (or something...who cares?)
Team MVP: Zimmerman
Post-season Awards: Zimmerman, Gold Glove, Silver Slugger
Team All-Star(s): Zimmerman; maybe Werth, but I doubt it - we won't have enough wins to get more than one all-star (true story)
Is Riggleman managing at the end of the season: Yes; not necessarily with the Nationals, though
Is Harper called up before season's end? Yes (but I don't know if he'll get ANY playing time - like, at all. Just to be around the clubhouse)
Does Strasburg make a start? I hope not. No point in rushing him back for a couple of extra tickets.
Does Teddy finally win a race? No. I think he'll win one the day after the Nationals clinch a postseason spot. Else, never.
I'm not a fan of batting average, RBI, R, W, or saves. I'd much rather predict a slash line. Also, we all know that Zimmerman is going to be great (or, to hedge our bets, good at least). We know that Werth is going to be somewhere between good and great. What I think is more interesting is how Morse, Espinosa, LaRoche, Desmond, et al. will perform. Also, I want to know if Zimmermann can stay healthy for the whole year and pick up where he left off in 2009. Other than that, I don't care much about wins and losses as a team just yet. That's a concern for next season.
