You don't worry about that. Let him play 3B and then figure it out when the situation dictates. I figure the Nats will start him off at 3B (in instructionals since odds are likely he does not play at all in 2011).

agreed, as usual.

he's close to the majors but that doesn't mean he'll be up next year or anything. you start him off @ 3B and then let him get some innings @ 2B/1B/LF/wherever down the road.

Keyes and Taylor have been on fire since the start of the second half. Taylor and Keyes both homered in the 8th inning with the Suns down 1-3, and later Keyes hit the game winner in the 14th. Apparently Keyes first home run was simply a defensive swing that ended up a in the stands.

So i was going through the harrisburg senators youtube page and i found out that Shairon Martis hit 94MPH in the 8th inning, while throwing a 8inning shutout. This comes to me as a shock because i remember him usually sitting at 89-91 in the Majors. Here is the video. http://www.youtube.com/user/senatorsbaseball#p/u/12/uIZdCyMllgc

Wow! Even better is that glorious curveball. Hope that guy is on the path back. He does still have a year or so before he reaches the spoprtsfan age threshold of "not a prospect."

yup. i really want to get a look at this guy soon and so we can see if he has a place in the future 'tation with the likes of strasburg/jz. (i really think cole is a definite too) you know what the beauty of that possible rotation is? they all can throw at least 95 with a hard dynamite breaking pitch.

Peacock allows a leadoff walk in the third, strikes out the next guy after starting 2-0, gets out of the inning. No hits, no runs, 5Ks, 45 pitches after 3.

hammonds, I agree Peacock is a major part of the 2012 rotation conversation at this point. The guy looks legit on paper. Really looking forward to reading Linty's report when I wake up tomorrow.

Kevin Keyes guy is impressive, Went 1-1 today with a double, and 3 walks. Past 10 games(not including tonight) he's hitting .324/.375/.946 , OPS at 1.321.

Kevin Keyes is a beast. Only has 21 hits in 93 at bats but among those hits, 15 went for extra bases (8 hr, 7 2b). Seems like he's able to draw a walk, too - 11 walks against 26 k's.

Legit prospect finally showing what he can do. Was pretty highly regarded coming out of University of Texas.
