I see that as pretty much irrelevant, though perhaps if you're evaluating Rizzo's performance as a GM, you might call him out for giving up on talent if that proves to be the case.
Was it Rizzo that traded him? Or was it Bowden?Either way... he had to go. You don't skip out on a team meeting the night before the season and run the routes he did in the OF... and not eventually have to pay for it.
