A group of scientists are publishing a paper arguing that’s there’s fungal life on Mars.

Apparently, SpaceX has no equipment to move a Starship booster off the landing pad, because they didn't expect a successful landing for at least eight more flights.

SpaceX landed a Starship. Unreal.

DoD report on UFOs is expected to say that the US has no evidence that UFOs spotted by American military members are aliens, but that they can't rule it out. They also can't rule out that it is unknown Chinese or Russian technology. They do say it isn't top secret US military technology.  The biggest fear is that it is advanced hypersonic technology that outpaces our own development.

So basically, no new news.

For all the Star Trek geeks out there, the Star Trek Original Series Set Tour in Ticonderoga NY is incredible. They have painstakingly rebuilt the Star Trek TOS sets from the original blueprints. We went yesterday and had a great time! Sick bay, Engineering, the transporter room, Kirk’s quarters, the Enterprise hallways, and of course the bridge are all there. Lighting, sound effects, even the red button to hit that immediately lights up the red alert lights and klaxon are perfectly reproduced. You can stand on the transporter pad, “ride” in the elevator, and best of all sit in the captain’s chair on the bridge. Tours run every hour, and our tour guide was amazingly informative. Pictures are encouraged!

Mr wj73 is not that much of a Star Trek geek as I am, but even he had a wonderful time. If you’re in that area, and have any interest in Star Trek or even in 60’s TV in general, I can highly recommend it.

Just watched the Space X Launch from our apartment in Orlando. Very impressive at night and was able to follow it for about two minutes.  Successful this far.

Bezos missed a golden opportunity by not having Shatner missing from the Blue Origin capsule when it landed, now there's no good opportunity for a sequel.

It’s tough in space. They are scheduled to return today. Another crew to launch Wednesday although that has been delayed several times now.

And up they went. Boosters that have been used 10 times. Capsules that have been used twice. It's Elon's world. We're just living in it.
