Jeremy Reed, Gil Velazquez, maybe Lou Montanez or Dennis Sarfate from up the road?  Tom Mastny, Chris Shelton, Brad Eldred (again), Alfredo Amezaga, the corpse that is Jacque Jones, Edwar Ramirez, Dana Eveland, Brian Shouse, Doug Mathis, Brandon Boggs, Esteban German.  All of these guys have had time in the majors.

Jason Botts? Didn't he used to be viewed as a potential power hitter?

Garate, James, and Novoa have been serviceable lefties out of the pen at times but not huge losses.

I'm kind of disappointed we might lose RH relief pitcher Luis Garcia who we obtained in the Belliard trade. But he didn't perform as well as expected this season so I guess it is deserved.

The rest of the guys are Minor League filler.

I see that the Tigers let go of Jay Sborz, a guy out of McLean HS,  second rounder I think. Throws hard, needs more command.
