Zimmerman gets his 20th home run!
Now get FIVE more doubles to tie the rookie record!

ALL RIGHT!  I've seen Major League 2, and loved it.  I've wanted to watch the first one.  Hey n2p, thanks a lot!

it would be awesome if we could accomplish something so late in the season (sweeping the philthies and shattering their wc hopes and dreams). Which will deny Howard of the MVP award.

Howard will win the MVP regardless.  No doubt about it.

Now we have to see Sportscenter tonight.  When Uggla got his 20th homerun it was trumpeted that he was just the fifth rookie to have 20HR/75RBI and the other four won Rookie of the Year.  We'll see what they have to say tonight!

They'll probably be like...well...Uggla...has...more triples (I actually don't know)! That means he's a better player than Zimmerman, therefore, the best rookie!

Must people who saw the first though II was a big disappointment.  The original was much too good to top with a sequel.  Bob Eucker's play-by-play is often quoted on here, and you will now recognize the jokes.

Well, never pay attention to ESPN, they're all dumba**es, and know nothing about anything.  Especially the Baseball Tonight team.  The next intelligent thing John Kruk says will be his first.

You guys should check out the MLB Dodgers board...they've started a thread to root for the Nats.

I told them to cajol their local sportswriters into voting for Zimmy for NL ROY.

Rookie stats from ESPN

ESPN is the only site I've found that gives rookie stats.  It was highly informative.
